Records Bureau


The Records Bureau maintains a record of all incident and motor vehicle accident reports for the police department. In addition, the Records Bureau assists the township prosecutor in preparing discovery for court each week. Records also handles requests for fingerprints, good conduct letters, temporary handicap placards, OPRA requests and processes alarm registrations.


Residents of Millburn / Short Hills can get noncriminal fingerprints on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is $10 per card and a photo identification is required.
